Together Everyone Achieves More
Here we would like to tell you all about Year 2 and the exciting things we do. Please check the website regularly for updates on what we have been learning, special days and any reminders using the class pages.
Fun in the snow! 30.1.19
Year 2 were very lucky to have a session with the RSPB! We explored habitats in our school ground and looked at ways to improve the area for wildlife.
The children had a wonderful day learning about the History of Australia. We looked at the meanings behind the dot art paintings and made salt dough necklaces with aboriginal designs on. We explored the cave painting designs and drew our own with chalk on the playground. Then we learnt an original war dance called 'The Haka'. We all enjoyed it very much, please look through the photographs below to see what we got up too!
Woody The Bear
Each class in KS1 now has their own ‘Woody the Bear’ travel mascot which we would like the children to take on holiday with them and write about their experiences. Please find the documentation for Woody our traveller by clicking on the link below.
